March 7, 2025---

From the Rector

My friends, we have an important Sunday approaching: The First Sunday in Lent and our Visit with Bishop Nichols. Please plan to attend the reception following.

The First Sunday in Lent is also the Second Sunday in March, which is the Sunday our Outreach Committee has designated as our day of contributing to the Second Harvest Food Bank. There's still plenty of time to plan to contribute.

Read below to see everything you need to know about what Second Harvest needs. And please note ESPECIALLY about Daylight Savings time!

Blessings,

Pam+

How Do We Begin Lent

THIS COMING SUNDAY?

Wish a visit from our

BISHOP

Please join us this Sunday as we welcome The Right Rev. Kevin Nichols, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Bethlehem.

We will celebrate four receptions and one confirmation at this service!

In honor of his visit, offerings of cash and coin are to be given to the diocese for the Bishop's Discretionary account. If you would prefer, checks may also be written to Trinity Church, with Bishop's Discretionary Fund written on the memo line.

A reception will follow worship in the All-Purpose room upstairs at Christ UCC. Please come and meet the Bishop and share good food and fellowship with one another.

Looking forward to seeing all of you for the Bishop's Visit on March 9, 2025!

On Sunday, March 9, the day of the Bishop's visit, the Outreach Committee invites you to join in a Second Sunday Offering for Second Harvest Food Bank.
