From the Tiger PAWS Tent Committee:

The OC Tulip Festival is now 6 weeks away! Support from every OCCS family is needed to make this large event successful each year. Tent work shifts will take place via signup.com as in recent years. Mark your calendars for Monday, April 14th from 6-7 pm for Double Shift sign up or Tuesday, April 15th from 6-8pm for Single Shift sign up.

A list of jobs/tent shifts will be included in next week’s announcement. Unless your family is a chairperson on the Tent, Soup, Pig or Straatmarket committees or the Tiger Paws treasurer; an adult member from your family is asked to sign up for one of these shifts.

The school office will help us to email the website links and signup instructions to all OCCS families at the signup times. Watch for those emails the week of April 14th! Please note: If you only sign up for one shift on Double Shift Signup Night your spot will be deleted and you will be asked to sign up again on April 15th.

Double Shift Signups on Monday, April 14th: If you are willing to work at least two tent shifts, you will sign up on Monday Aprill 14th. Consider working them yourself or join with your spouse and sign up early! (One of the double shift workers must be an OCCS parent, and the second can be your spouse or a non-OCCS parent to qualify for this incentive).

Single Shift Signups on April 15th: If you didn’t sign up on April 14th please sign up on Tuesday, April 15th. If you have any questions or concerns about the sign-up process, please email occsmonica@gmail.com.

If you hire a high school student to work your shift, remember to sign up only for eligible jobs which are highlighted in yellow on the tent schedule that will be shared next week. High schoolers are only allowed to work certain shifts and jobs-once those spots are filled, your substitute must be a qualified adult. Following is a list of adults and high school students who are willing to work your shift for a suggested payment of $50. Please note Unity students cannot work morning shifts on Thursday and Friday because they still have classes.
