Service Spotlight: Secret Shoppers

Improve Public Service with Secret Shoppers

Secret Shoppers are an innovative method of gathering feedback straight from the source. A diverse set of shoppers represent different personas and scenarios.

Secret Shoppers provide a different perspective than surveys of current customers. They are trained to pay attention to all the details and to focus on the customer services experience as a whole, rather than just how their personal issue was addressed.

The PPMC helped the Workforce Development Board evaluate performance, needs, and opportunities through a comprehensive evaluation that included Secret Shoppers.
