Tribe Tikvah Picnic with Therapy Dogs

Pennypack Park, Philadelphia


Join Tikvah and Tribe12 for a low stress afternoon picnicking and enjoying the company of therapy dogs. Picnic tables and benches will be in a shaded area. Bring your own picnic lunch. Water and kosher snacks will be provided.

In partnership with Tribe12, Tribe Tikvah organizes events for those in their 20s and 30s. We are a community that puts on social events in low-pressure environments to meet new people and explore the greater Philadelphia area. This is done while upholding Tikvah's values.

Peer Program Advisory Group

Representatives of various demographic groups from among the Tikvah membership are selected by the Program Director and Committee Chairs that currently serve on the board of directors. During periodic meetings committee members make recommendations on the types of activities that will be planned and offered by Tikvah in the future.

In April, we will be curating affirmation gardens, where participants will be able to make their own paper flowers and write personalized affirmations.


Together, we’ll explore how simple creative practices can support confidence, emotional resilience, and stress reduction. You’ll walk away with a handmade flower and a powerful affirmation to keep or gift.
