June was a busy month at Tikvah!

Trenton Thunder game, "Brewing Possibilities" film and discussion with filmmaker and Tikvah Member David Block, Volunteering for Jewish Relief Agency, Bar-B-Que at Washington Crossing Historic Park, KleinLife June Birthdays and Father's Day Lunch, and Learn & Lite Bites at Kaiserman JCC. Tribe Tikvah is our community engagement section for those in their 20s and 30s. We facilitate social events and we facilitate stress free opportunities to meet new people while enjoying and exploring the greater Philadelphia area. Some events are offered in partnership with Tribe 12.

Discussion group for friends or family members of those with the lived experience of mental illness. Discover new insights and connect with others dedicated to fostering independence and integration. Together, we create a tapestry of support and empowerment.

Tribe 12 | Jewish Support & Recovery Discussion

Join Tribe 12 members in their 20s and 30s for a community-led, open, and inclusive conversation exploring Jewish recovery and how we can build a supportive community together.


We will be reading from Rabbi Shais Taub’s “God of our Understanding: Jewish Spirituality and Recovery from Addiction.”


You are welcome to bring your own copy if you have one, but we will provide all materials.


We welcome people navigating all forms of addiction and recovery, as well as those who are recovery-curious, sober-curious, recovery adjacent, supporting someone in recovery, or interested in a Jewish recovery community — even if you don’t personally identify as having an addiction. Snacks will be provided!
