Resource Spotlight: Jewish Relief Agency (JRA)
Greetings Tikvah!

On July 10th at 9:30 AM we will be volunteering at the Jewish Relief. Agency (JRA) Food Delivery! JRA staff and volunteers monthly assemble emergency food boxes and then delivers these directly to those who have registered that they are experiencing food insecurity. JRA serves over 6,400 diverse low-income individuals across Greater Philadelphia. They are a fantastic resource and we are so lucky to have this opportunity to volunteer for them!

In the past Tikvah has volunteered with JRA and it has left a lasting impact on those who helped below is a quote from Chuck Allen on his experience the last time Tikvah volunteered with JRA.

"Tikvah has been a second family to me. The friends I made and lost along with all the memories I shared with them are too numerous to mention.  I had the pleasure of packing and sending food packages to those in the Jewish community that counted on them but could not get them in person.  That sense of giving back to our brothers and sisters in the community is a feeling you can’t put into words. I can’t wait to do it again. Thanks for everything!"
