TIKVAH MEANS HOPE

Tikvah Talk

November | 2024

PAST MONTH IN PHOTOS

In 2022 Tikvah rolled out our Mind, Body, Soul, and Spirit initiative. Since then we have increased our common interest programs for members who participate together in arts & crafts, cooking, meditation, movement, and music activities that regularly increase their skills and empower them to form friendships with others who share their interests. Pictured are Tikvah members taking part in our Let's Get Crafty and Let's Get Musical monthly sessions.

Suggested Donation: $18

Internationally renowned klezmer violinist Alicia Svigals will teach workshop participants how to make the beautiful and deeply Jewish sounds that characterize authentic klezmer playing.

All instruments are welcome, no prior klezmer experience is necessary, and readers and ear-learners will all find a place in the ensemble. By the end of the workshop, the instant klezmer orchestra will become a party band, and we’ll take turns dancing and playing. Come prepared for joy and fun!

Musicians and non-musicians are welcome.
