With reclaimed natural roofing slate being in short supply and high demand, we focused a great deal of time and energy on reclaiming and procuring close to 1,000 squares of materials. The end result is we have on hand many large and small batches of viable Vermont slate as well as slates brought in from Canada, Spain and Virginia. We have multiple colors, lengths, widths and thickness available right now and many more roofing systems becoming available every week.

A typical season of reclamation and procurement includes many hundreds or thousands of squares of various clay tile roofing systems with a heavy emphasis on Ludowici roofing tiles. This year has been no different and as a matter of fact, we have shipped in even more than the norm in efforts to keep up with the very high demand for these highly sought after roofing tiles and fittings. I have personally traveled half the country securing countless semi-loads of tile and getting involved with the packaging and careful handling to ensure safe transit back to one of our facilities.

Renaissance Tile and Slate caters to the entire United States and Canada. We have been solely invested in the tile and slate roofing industry only for three decades and grow exponentially annually. We started with a small stock pile of reclaimed tile and slate roofing with the notion of using these roofing materials for our roofing restorations and repairs and sell off portions from time to time to help those in need. Over the past 15 years, we have developed and maintained a very large inventory of new and reclaimed tile and slate roofing materials (some dating back to the 1800’s). We have one of the largest inventories of historic roofing in the United States and continue to grow that stock weekly. Further, our network of resources is vast and with a little know how and diligence, there’s nothing that can’t be obtained. We field thousands of requests each year for small and large quantities of clay, concrete and slate roofing products and have a very high rate of supply success.
 

Our role is as it always is; reclaim, salvage, procure and return grade 1 tile and slate roofing materials to our facility in Northern, IL. Repack, recount and make ready for shipment. Each and every lot of tile and slate is inspected, culled and verified to be good-sound roofing material that will last for decades to come. We also have great relationships with most manufacturers and quarries for the new material requests. Logistically, we can load LTL (less than truckload) freight as well as full load/ flatbed semi’s. We do all the work for you.
