SHARE:

This past year our field crew planted the Timberbuilt flag in states across the country -- Utah, Montana, Idaho, Michigan, Missouri, Virginia, and many more.

It's been our pleasure to work with an amazing group of clients. For your trust and your commitment to building with us, we are incredibly grateful.

We spent some of 2024 reaching out locally as well -- and not just to build homes. We hosted student groups from high schools and colleges and contributed to a community-wide effort to plant trees in a nearby town.

Our office team continues buzzing into the winter months with a slew of new design ideas and we've reinforced our efforts to develop a series of small homes that includes accessory dwelling units (ADUs), 3-season cabins, and outbuildings.

VIDEOS

We started bringing our clients to the forefront with an ongoing series of videos about the people who build with us.

Our team visited this DIY couple for a short talk about their experience building this beautiful Olive Series home in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.

Recently we caught up with Ken who was happy to share the story of building his Burke.

OUTREACH

Together with Port X Logistics, we’re thrilled to be a co-sponsor for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center’s 2025 Empire State Ride. The ride starts July 26th on Staten Island and covers approximately 500 miles over seven days, ending on August 2nd in Niagara Falls.

Last year 291 riders participated and they raised more than $2.2 million to help fund cancer research at Roswell! This year we’re anticipating an even bigger crowd, and Timberbuilt is going to do our best to help set a new record for donations.

If you’d like to make a difference you can donate via Timberbuilt’s team rider: Zach Donovan.

From back country skiing to rock climbing, Zach isn’t one to shy away from a physical challenge! He’s bravely agreed to pedal across the state of New York this summer and we can’t wait to meet him at the finish line 💪

BUILDING

OUR TEAM

We're always trying to stockpile our team with fresh talent.

Big wave surfer fresh off a five-year stint in Bali, Sam has nearly a decade’s worth of marketing and web design experience.

At Timberbuilt he produces videos for the YouTube channel, handles client inquiries, and keeps the Pinterest page humming along like a finely tuned V8.

Sam also keeps track of Missy, the official Timberbuilt dog. She hangs out on the second floor of the office patiently waiting for people to give her treats.

On weekends Sam takes advantage of Timberbuilt’s fully stocked workshop to build interesting furniture. With thousands of pounds of wood stacked in the corner it’s his responsibility to put that Douglas fir, black walnut and maple to good use.

If you're interested in joining us, we'd love to hear from you.

We're rolling into fall with a full head of steam, chiseling sticks of wood into thousand pound puzzle pieces, sanding, staining, and standing 'em up in epic spots across the continent, then cladding them with a plush layer of energy-efficient structural insulated panels.

Winter presses on, the holidays are ancient history, and we’re taking a few minutes to share some of the ins and outs of what’s happening with our design and build team.

While our field team is traveling from coast to coast and our shop team is busy finishing, framing, and designing, we're heading back to school this fall with project updates, recent builds, and a brand new design.

Like everyone, we've spent a little more time at home these last few years. We built on the lake, in the ski hills, the local villages -- and we knocked out a bunch of major upgrades at our headquarters in North Collins, NY. Here's a quick look at a few of the local projects that kept us busy.

We have teams pounding nails in Colorado and Montana. Our designers just sent fresh construction docs to the printer. Interns and summer helpers buzz around our shop, bustling by our woodworker aces, who are covered in sawdust, blasting music through the building, cutting, sanding, staining, and stockpiling timber frames into every corner.

Dancing around our local quarantine list has been a high-intensity, short duration exercise but we’re getting it done with stops in Washington, Montana, and Oregon.

It’s a strange new world out there. Even though the Timberbuilt office staff has been working from home for over a month we’ve stayed busy, productive, and are positioning ourselves in the starting blocks, waiting for the shot to get out and start building again.

Autumn’s here, there’s a chill in the air, and it’s time to find a nice warm spot and hunker down for the winter BUT WE ARE NOT HUNKERERS.

From the outer reaches of North America, 3,300 miles from home, with a pack of bloodthirsty Kodiak bears in pursuit --

OUR FIELD TEAM IS BACK...

Oceanfront work sites, 16 hours of sunlight a day, and the world's largest bears. What more could we ask for?

We’ve continued to rack up the frequent flyer miles with recent projects ranging from southern Colorado to South Dakota to the Poconos in Pennsylvania. Here’s a look at a few...

From the Colorado Sunbelt in San Juan National Forest to the "Crown Of The Continent" in Glacier National Park, to our own Lake Erie Basin, we spent our year working with an exceptionally diverse, amazing bunch of clients. THANKS to you all!

Lots more ahead this year.
