Emily Mathis has been hired as the new Varsity Swimming Head Coach at Timberline High
School. Emily is from Santa Maria, California where she swam for Orcutt Academy High School and the Santa Maria Swim Club. She then went on to swim for Boise State University for all four years, where she holds the school-record in the 200 yard breaststroke.
Her previous coaching experience includes assistant coaching for Timberline High School the past three years and the Santa Maria Swim Club in California. After graduating from Boise State University in 2018 with her Elementary Education Teaching Credential, Coach Mathis went on to teach in the Boise School District. Emily is currently furthering her education by getting her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. Coach Mathis is thrilled for the opportunity to lead the Timberline Swim Team.
