Timberline High Announces

New Head Softball Coach

Boise, ID -- 10/20/2022 -- Timberline High School has hired Dave Craig as the school's new Head Varsity Softball Coach. Coach Craig resides in Boise, and has two daughters, both of whom graduated from Timberline High School. His oldest daughter Shay is the Head Softball Coach at North Idaho College. 


Coach Craig benefits from having served for 22 years coaching girls fast pitch softball. He started his passion for coaching in 1997, coaching his daughters' East Boise little league team. He spent 18 years managing all ages in the Boise Blast fast pitch organization.


Coach Craig also spent 5 years as Assistant Varsity Softball Coach at Timberline, and has been the Timberline Head Junior Varsity Softball Coach for the past 3 years. Over the years, Coach Craig's teams have won a 14U ASA State Championship and his 18U ASA team won the National Championship going undefeated. In 2022, the Timberline Junior Varsity Softball Team won the District Championship. This past year, Coach Craig was voted the 5A District 3 Junior Varsity Coach of the Year. Coach Craig is excited for this opportunity and is looking forward to the future of Timberline Softball!
