Dear Golfer/Sponsor,

As you are aware, domestic violence continues to be a problem for so many. Each day, someone dies or is hospitalized from DV. Our programs at the TimeOut Shelter not only help educate survivors, but we also house clients (which includes children) and help them safely transition back into society after they have left their abuser. Our current emergency shelter is in dire need of replacing. We are currently the only facility serving all of Gila County, which spans nearly 5,000 square miles. We have 28 beds and are almost always full. It is our “mission to provide a safe sanctuary from abuse and domestic violence for the purpose of healing and growth.”

In order to help raise the funds to replace the current facility, we would like to take this opportunity to personally invite you to the TimeOut at the Rim 1st Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament. We would like to ask you to consider being a sponsor for this wonderful cause. We are a 501(c)(3) organization in Arizona.

This event will no doubt be a memorable and impactful weekend. We have some wonderful activities planned that will begin on Friday, October 4th. We will have a pairings party along with dinner and entertainment at the beautiful Rim Golf Club in Payson, Arizona. Saturday, October 5th will start with a putting contest, raffle opportunities, prizes and more prior to our 11 AM shotgun start. The day culminates with more food, awards ceremonies and more prizes and raffles. We will have celebrities from television and sports to be your team captains for the 5 man scramble golf tournament.

Please see the attachment showing available sponsorship levels and more information for how you can help. If you have never played the Rim Golf Club, here is your opportunity. But most importantly, you have the opportunity to benefit TimeOut and all of the individuals they serve. We look forward to talking with you more about this amazing event, and we hope to see you in October.

Best Personal Regards,
