Saskatchewan Library Week

Saskatchewan Library Week is almost here! Celebrate Saskatchewan libraries from October 20-26 by visiting your local library for events.

The launch of Saskatchewan Library Week  will be held at the Research and Inovation Centre of the University of Regina on October 22, at 11 AM. There will be a reading by Cree author Joshua Jordan G.H. of Shopping Cart Boy: Poems of My Life. Refreshments will be provided.

Another way of celebrating SLW is to enter the Book Spine Poetry Contest. Entries will be accepted until November, 2019.

SLA Fall Happy Hour

The SLA Fall Happy Hour has been set for November 6, 2019. Join us in Regina, Saskatoon, and La Ronge for a chance to meet people, network and socialize. Appetizers are on us! If you have any questions, please contact Marina Candeia at slaadmin@sasktel.net.

Free Office Furniture

SLA is donating several pieces of office furniture. We have desks, shelves and one filing unit available. We are happy to donate to anyone in Saskatchewan who needs it, however, moving costs need to be covered. For more information, please contact Marina Candeia at slaadmin@sasktel.net.
