Leadership Summit for Women, November 18, 2017
Inspiring bold leaders in #HamOnt!
Workforce Planning Hamilton is proud to partner with McMaster University, Mohawk College, and YWCA Hamilton to present the Leadership Summit for Women.
This free, annual community-wide event brings together women, trans* individuals, and allies from the
Hamilton community.
This event provides the skills, space, and support for all participants to reach their full potential as individuals
and as collaborative members of a community. Those who participate are driving the creation of a more just and equitable society.
When: Saturday, November 18, 2017, from 10 am to 4 pm.

Free Step to Justice workshop, November 3rd, 2017
Community Legal Education Ontario (CLEO) has launched Steps to Justice. Steps to Justice is a new interactive website that gives reliable, step-by-step information on common legal problems in family, social assistance, housing, employment and other areas of law.
CLEO is coming to Hamilton to give a free Step to Justice workshop on Friday November 3rd, 2017 from 2:30pm-4pm.
This workshop is designed for front-line workers and will cover:
- The difference between legal information and legal advice
- An overview of Steps to Justice and the features it offers
- A tour of Steps to Justice and instruction on how to use its features
- Using interactive case scenarios to find legal information on Steps to Justice

International Student Summit, November 23/17
The City of Hamilton is holding an International Student Summit on November 23, 2017 at McMaster Innovation Park.
It will be a full day of keynotes, breakout sessions, and networking ... all to encourage our International Students to stay in Hamilton beyond their academic career.
