Dear Amanda,
Five days including today, we must turn in our petitions and we must have your petitions in hand for it to count.
THIS Thursday, April 3 by 5pm we must turn in our signatures to the Virginia State Board of Elections.
I just finished counting the sheets of petitions turned in thus far. And I know many of you still have outstanding petitions and plan to collect more signatures today. I also know many of you are going to hand deliver your petitions or expedite all petitions so that we will receive them before midnight Wednesday.
While we have worked tirelessly around the clock going to event after event collecting signatures, getting very little sleep and driving hours and hours every single day since we announced a run 3 weeks ago, we are still short signatures.
Thankfully, we still have 4 more days.
Today, we will be at NASCAR and the Hampton Gun Show.
We still need a minimum of 4,000 signatures before we turn these petitions in on Thursday.
We really need all hands on deck to meet our goal. We can do this if you help.
Thank you to everyone who has already mailed or overnighted your petitions. I appreciate you and I am keeping a list of those who have collected signatures so that we remember those of you who have helped in this tremendous effort. We will be having a dinner at our house sometime in late April or early May for those who have collected over 100 signatures.
Many of you already know what's at stake here. Remember 2020? Do you remember when the Democrats had an unfettered oligarchical trifecta in the House, Senate AND Democrat Ralph Northam was governor? He signed into law every Democrat bill that came across his desk. It seriously triggers me to remember all of the bills I personally witnessed pass in 2020. Many of those laws are still in effect because we couldn't reverse them.
So are you going to give up or are you going to fight?
Many Trump supporters have already said they cannot in good conscience support our Lieutenant Governor Winsome Sears because of her harsh anti-Trump comments .
They can't forget her words.
While you personally may have overlooked her comments, I hear many Trump supporters say they can't get over it.
If we don't get enough signatures to get on the ballot, we are destined to repeat history, with Spanberger for Governor. I'm just being honest here. It's not politically correct to say this, but it is the truth.
If we don't get the necessary signatures turned in before this coming Thursday, you will have to relive 2020 all over again. Many have said they are going to move out of Virginia if Spanberger gets elected in November. Don't shoot the messenger. That's what a number of Virginians are saying.
NOW is the time to do something. What is the cost of moving out of Virginia compared to the effort it will take for you and your family to collect 100 signatures and turn them into our campaign before this Wednesday at midnight. Which is more inconvenient? Living under a Democrat trifecta? Moving out of Virginia? Collecting 100 signatures? The choice is yours. I really can't do this on my own.
Virginia is the most beautiful state in the United States.
I don't want to move out of Virginia. Do you?
The Democrats have already passed tyrannical bills in both the House and Senate. This was the last session Governor Youngkin could veto those bills. Now his term is up. Governor Youngkin cannot run this time and he will not be there in January to veto these bills.
I'm begging you to put aside all excuses.
Trust me. We all have good excuses why we can't circulate a petition. But excuses don't get us to our goal.
Please do your part or we are destined to repeat 2020.
TODAY IS THE LAST SUNDAY TO COLLECT SIGNATURES. You can still collect through Wednesday, but we need in hand before midnight Wednesday. But you will need to hand deliver. We must turn in our forms before 5pm this Thursday.
TODAY IS THE LAST DAY to collect signatures at the Hampton Gun Show and just off the NASCAR property this weekend.
- Please call 804 370 8727 or
- email amanda@chaseforva.com if you can volunteer.
Anyone can get members of their household to sign a petition, get it notarized and Fed Ex it to our Appomattox campaign office. At this point you will need to overnight or FedEx your petitions. I wouldn't count on the postal service to deliver your petitions in time.
Just remember. You can't sign your own petition. Also, the petition must be notarized before you mail it in.
We STILL need committed volunteers going to busy shopping centers, church parking lots and anywhere there are many people gathered in line and waiting.
Please do your part to ensure we collect enough signatures to make sure we cross the finish line when we hand in our petitions next Thursday, April 3 before 5pm.
Please stop by the following locations to sign Amanda's petition:
