On Saturday, December 14th, Valero Fire Truck #16 and its crew participated in the Benicia Christmas Parade. We had an incredible time as part of the lineup - and it looks like our riders had fun, too!

Holiday Giving Campaigns

Gift Wrapping at the Bay Area Crisis Nursery

Valero Benicia Refinery employees and their families will wrap presents for children and families associated with the Bay Area Crisis Nursery. The gift wrapping event will be held on Thursday, December 19th at the BACN Office.

Adopt a Family

For over 10 years, the Valero Benicia Refinery has supported the community by adopting families in need. This effort involves providing clothing, food and gifts to children and families who cannot afford to do so themselves.

Toys for Tots

Valero Benicia Refinery will continue to support Travis Air Force Base and the U.S. Marine Corps during their annual Toys for Tots drive by helping employees donate new unwrapped toys. All donations will be delivered to children in the community!

Supporting Our Local Veterans Memorial Hall

Valero Benicia Refinery recently donated $20,000 to the Benicia Memorial Veterans Hall for renovations and $3,000 to help re-paint their organizational sign.

We are a proud supporter of the Benicia Memorial Veterans Hall and look forward to our continued partnership!

Valero Benicia Contributes to Bird Rescue

Valero Benicia Refinery donated $10,000 to the International Bird Rescue on Giving Tuesday. The money will go toward feeding and caring for orphaned and injured aquatic birds in our area.

Valero volunteers spent time during the Thanksgiving holiday supporting the Benicia Community Action Council during their food drive and community feeding event.

As part of our wildfire safety practices, we are proud to partner with Goats "R" Us to help clear the firebreak area around the Valero Benicia Refinery. On December 16th, we moved our herd from one side of the Refinery to the other - click the button below to check out our shepherd in action.
