Time running out for 2016 tax deduction

Take advantage of a year-end tax-deductible charitable donation by donating to Michigan Pet Fund Alliance, the only statewide organization with the mission to stop the killing of homeless cats and dogs in Michigan.

You can ensure that 100% of your donation goes directly to an animal in need by designating your gift to the Judith Middleton Kroon Lifesaving grant fund. This innovative program provides grants to rescue groups that pull at-risk pets from Michigan shelters.

A recent Kroon grant recipient is Shadow, a dog who was found in a vacant lot in west Michigan curled up tightly in a ball during a snow storm. When animal control put a leash on her to walk her to the car, they discovered four puppies under her that she was trying to keep warm. Canine Companion Rescue Center, a Michigan certified rescue organization, was contacted for help. Shadow and her babies are now safe and sound getting the TLC they need through CCRC, who applied to MPFA for a Judith Middleton Kroon grant.  If you are interested meeting Shadow or her pups, please fill out one of CCRC's adoption application!
