It's time to celebrate the power of engineering — and the people who make it possible. Engineers Week (EWeek) unites engineers, students, and communities across the nation to celebrate how engineering shapes our world.

NSPE proudly collaborates with DiscoverE and more than 70 engineering, education, and cultural organizations (as well as 50 corporations and agencies) to build awareness, spark curiosity, and celebrate the engineers who make a difference every day.

No matter where you are in your engineering journey — from student to seasoned professional — you have a role to play. Whether you host a classroom visit, volunteer with your state society, mentor a student, or share your engineering story online, your participation helps amplify the message that engineering changes lives. Join us in celebrating the people and possibilities that power tomorrow’s world.

2026 Engineers Week Theme:

Transform Your Future

Founded by NSPE in 1951, Engineers Week is a commitment to making a difference by engaging students in engineering, advocating for the need for engineers, technicians and technologists, and celebrating how engineers make a difference in our world. View downloadable resources

Federal Engineer of the Year

Federal engineers play a vital role in solving complex challenges, shaping infrastructure, and enhancing quality of life not only in the US but globally. In recognition of their exceptional contributions, NSPE proudly honors 25 agency winners, including 10 finalists for the Federal Engineer of the Year Award (FEYA). The overall winner will be announced on February 27, 2026, at a ceremony at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

MATHCOUNTS E-Week & Month

Engineers Week is now Engineers Month at MATHCOUNTS! With support from BAE Systems, we're posting an engineering-themed Problem of the Week on each Monday in February. During Engineers Week (February 23-27), we'll celebrate with extra engineering activities. Each Problem of the Week and Engineers Week activity will bring a chance to earn prizes and recognition!
