A Reason to Celebrate!
Mary Kate Brown, Peer Recovery Leader
Our own Mary Kate Brown celebrated 5 years of recovery this month! We asked what she has learned about life after being substance free:
One thing I have learned living sober is that life has so much more to offer than substances. While I was using, my life revolved around them, and now that I'm sober I have found so much more meaning in life. In recovery I have found my career path, mended my relationships with my family, and created life long friendships.
