'Cracking the Corporate Code' Roundtables in Clearwater

Thank you to Chala Dincoy, who visited us from Toronto, Canada, again on Feb. 25 to conduct two sessions for our WBEs. "The Repositioning Expert" led an executive roundtable for CEOs on the secrets to landing multiple six-figure contracts. Chala also conducted a workshop on how to identify your company's differentiator to guarantee you stand out from your competition.

Also, thank you to Christina Sisler, CEO of Altruistic Beauty Academy in Clearwater, for hosting us at her business. We appreciate you and your team!

If you missed these opportunities, bookmark our Events page on the WBEC Florida website to watch for other events we're hosting this year. And be sure to connect with us on Linked In to stay up to date, too. We hope to see you somewhere soon!

Tip of the Week

Tired of Being Tired? Infuse New Energy into Your Business

Three months into a busy 2025, you might be wondering where you'll get the energy to make it through till the end of December. Here are few ways to rekindle and nurture your passion for your business:

  • Define or redefine. Ask yourself, “Am I doing what I set out to do?”
  • Build your resilience muscle. When was the last time you tried something new in your business? New market, new target goal, new client or prospect?
  • Share your story. Look critically at the “About Us” section of your website. Does it effectively communicate who you are today and why you do what you do?
  • Know what you don’t know. Instead of spending time learning how to design a perfect website when that is not your core business function, hire someone else to do it so you can focus on meeting potential clients.
  • Join a network for support. Support can take on many forms — from coaching to consulting, from one-on-one sessions to group options to roundtables. If you're already a WBEC Florida and WBENC member, are you taking advantage of opportunities to network with other members?
