September Beginning Farmers News Update

As the cooler weather descends upon us, fall draws closer. This is a time when many farmers start to reflect on the past season to evaluate what has gone well and what lessons they have learned. As beginning farmers this is an important process to undergo as it helps you build a stronger and more vibrant business.

At Practical Farmers we have a program that will help you do just this, our Savings Incentive Program. You will receive guidance from a farm mentor and earn up to $4,800 while you work to complete or update your farm business plan.

Applications only open once a year for the two year program. Don't miss out, submit your application before the October 7th deadline. Check out below for more details.

Also included in this update you will find some great opportunities to start or grow your farm, innovative field days and a few resources to aid you in your farming journey. As always if you have ideas or need some direction please don't hesitate to reach out.

Sincerely,

Greg Van Den Berghe
