Tips to Keep Your Home Safe for All

May 2019
Home Healthsmith strives to continue to educate and inform the public and private sector about the many options available for those that are aging or have a disability.  We were excited to host a group of New England Tech students studying to get certified as OTA's (Occupational Therapy Assistants) this week at our facility.  They were presented with a presentation and tour and then spent time demoing the various types of accessibility equipment that we offer.

"Thanks again for hosting my group of OTA students from NEIT yesterday.  The students were impressed with your facility and enjoyed the hands on experience!" -  Patricia M. McGee, MS, OTR/L,  Assistant Professor,  Occupational Therapy Assistant Program, NEIT

If you are interested in learning more about the various types of accessibility please give us a call to schedule a presentation or stop by our facility at 207 High Point Ave., Unit 2 in Portsmouth, RI.

Are you aware of the  RI Livable Home Modification Grant program ?  We have helped numerous clients through this process and the deadline is coming up.  If you think you might be interested in this, give us a call.  We can help you with this before the June 30th deadline.

We are here to help!
