November 10, 2021: Candidate nomination applications due. Candidate applications must be returned and signed by the applicant in person to the Clerk of the Board no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 10, 2021. The form must be complete. Applications received will be posted on the Board of Trustees Appointment Process 2021 website.

November 16, 2021: Special Board Meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the Board Room at the District Services Center, 8169 W. Victory Road for consideration and voting of applicants to interview.

November 19, 2021: Special Board Meeting at 2:00 p.m. to interview applicants and select new Trustee in the Board Room at the District Services Center, 8169 W. Victory Road.

December 13, 2021: New Trustee selected will be officially sworn in at the Regular Board Meeting held at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room at the District Services Center, 8169 W. Victory Rd.
The Boise School Board will follow Regulation 1131(R) - Filling Vacancies on the Board of Trustees.

Qualifications of Trustees
To be eligible to serve as a Trustee an individual must be at least 18 years of age, an elector and resident of the Boise School District, and have no direct or indirect interest in District contracts. Before entering upon his/her duties, he/she shall take and subscribe an oath faithfully to perform the duties of his/her trust according to law; and no Trustee shall have any pecuniary interest, either directly or indirectly, in any contract with said District, or in any supplies furnished to or for said District, nor shall any Trustee be surety for the performance of any contract with the said Board or District, or the agent or partner of any contractor with said Board or District, and no action shall be maintained or recovery had against said Board or District upon any contract or obligation in which any Trustee is so interested, but the same shall be void.
