Boise, ID -- (10/01/2020) -- In a Special Board Meeting held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 members of the Boise School Board voted to accept the resignation of Trustee Dr. Troy Rohn and declared the seat vacant.
In approving the resignation, the Board voiced support for the following Trustee Appointment Timeline to fill the vacancy.

October 1 - Declare Board vacancy
October 5 - Candidate nomination applications available
October 23 - Candidate nominations due
October 26 - November 6 - Application review process
November 9 - Appoint new Board member (regular Board meeting)
To help guide the public process to appoint a new trustee, the Board formed a Trustee Appointment Committee consisting of Board Vice President Maria Greeley, Trustee Dennis Doan and members of the District administration.
Beginning Monday, October 5, 2020 candidate nominations will be accepted. Applications and further information will be available on Monday, October 5, 2020.
