E-week is much more than a week-long event each February. Founded by NSPE in 1951, Engineers Week is a commitment to making a difference by engaging students in engineering, advocating for the need for engineers, technicians and technologists, and celebrating how engineers make a difference in our world.
On behalf of of your MSPE Board of Directors and our National Society, I am proud to share the E-week opportunities and resources in this issue.

Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day helps focus a growing movement to inspire girls' futures so they learn they have a place in engineering a better world. In just one day, you can make a difference by sharing your knowledge, experience, and some fun.

Provide girls with opportunities to think like an engineer and be amazed with what they learn. Learn more
Federal Engineer of the Year
In recognition of the heroic efforts by federal engineers, NSPE will proudly honor 26 agency winners, including 10 finalists for the Federal Engineer of the Year Award, on February 23.

This year's Federal Engineer of the Year Award luncheon will take place at 1:00 p.m. ET at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
Test Your Wits and Earn Prizes
MATHCOUNTS is posting a free problem set or activity highlighting a different engineering field this week.

People of all ages are invited to work solo or in a group to submit answers by March 1 at 5:00 p.m. to earn recognition, certificates or prizes. Correct answers will earn prize drawing entries for each of the five problem sets. Two randomly selected groups will win $150 each and one individual will win $50. Learn more
NSPE Scholarships
Promote Tomorrow's PEs
The NSPE Education Foundation provides scholarships to support talented students pursuing careers in engineering. This year, the Foundation will award a variety of scholarships to high school, undergraduate, and graduate school students.
