πŸ’¬ A Message from the President

October has been a full month, and there is some news I have not had the chance to share with everyone yet.

In August, I was elected President of the Severance Chamber of Commerce, in addition to continuing to serve as President of the Timnath Chamber of Commerce.

It was not something I necessarily expected when the summer started, but the more conversations I had with people in both communities, the more sense it made. Timnath and Severance are separate towns and the Chambers remain separate organizations, but our businesses, residents, customers, and relationships overlap constantly.

I now have the opportunity to help both Chambers work more closely where it makes sense while still protecting what makes each community its own.

We are already seeing what that can look like.

Timnath Connect just wrapped up its season with the Harvest Market at Pedro's, where 36 local vendors set up alongside the families and neighbors who came out to support them. Taste of Timnath is in its final days, giving people one more reason to discover local businesses, try something new, and keep more of their spending close to home, with half of the net proceeds going to the Food Bank for Larimer County.

And Towns Connecting Over Coffee continues to bring people from neighboring communities together for a simple morning of introductions and conversation. There is no complicated agenda. Just good people in the same room getting to know one another, which is usually where the best things start. It meets again on November 12 in Eaton, and I would love to see some of you there.

We also made a practical change that I think adds real value for some of our members: Severance Chamber of Commerce membership is now included with Timnath Chamber Corporate Membership.

That does not mean the Chambers are merging. They are not.

It simply means that when there is an opportunity to give our members a larger network, more relationships, and more places to do business without adding another expense, I think we should take advantage of it.

The more time I spend doing this work, the more convinced I am that a Chamber does not need to make things complicated to be useful.

Sometimes our job is to advocate for a business. Sometimes it is to host an event. Sometimes it is to create a new opportunity. And sometimes it is just introducing two people who should probably already know each other.

That is what I want both Chambers to keep getting better at.

If you have not been to something lately, come out. Bring somebody with you. Visit another member. Make an introduction. Tell me what your business is working on, what is going well, or where you could use some help.

There is a lot happening right now, and I am excited about where both communities are headed.

More than anything, I am grateful for the people who continue to show up and help build it with us.

See you out there.

- Dustin Peyser, President

πŸ›οΈ Timnath Connect: Thank You for a Great Season

The 2026 Timnath Connect season is officially in the books, and what a season it was. From April through October, we held seven Saturday markets at Pedro's Coffee Shop, filled 172 vendor booth bookings, and welcomed 86 local vendor businesses and 7 musical acts to Timnath. Every market was free to attend and open to all ages, and the season closed on October 17 with a Harvest Market of 28 vendors, food trucks, and community booths.

Thank you to our musicians. Live music is part of what makes a market morning feel like Timnath Connect, and this season it came from seven local acts: Charlie Stevens (April), Nick Critchlow (May and the Harvest Market), Alex Nikiforoff (June and August), Eve Coffman (June, July, and the Harvest Market), Douglas James (July and the Fall Kickoff), Steven Feinstein (August), and DJ Lil Coop (Fall Kickoff). Thank you all for giving these markets their soundtrack.

Thank you to our vendors. Eighty-six businesses set up with us this season, and a special thank you goes to the two who never missed a single market, all seven of them: Elevate Chiropractic and Renewal by Andersen. 🍴 Taste of Timnath: Final Days

Taste of Timnath is in its final days, and there is still time to eat your way through town for a good cause. The community food passport campaign from the Timnath Chamber of Commerce ends Saturday, October 31, and every passport sold puts half of the net proceeds in the hands of the Food Bank for Larimer County.

The idea is simple: eat local, support Timnath businesses, and help feed Larimer County.

The response has been wonderful to see. 65+ Taste Passports are out in the community, and passport holders have already redeemed 107 special offers at participating stops across Timnath. That is a lot of first visits, return visits, and dollars kept close to home, all in one month.

🎟️ Want a Taste Passport? There is still time.

Passports are $25 and on sale now. Buy one this week, grab a friend, and make a run through the stops before the campaign closes on October 31. Every offer you redeem supports a local business, and 50% of net proceeds from passport sales are donated to the Food Bank for Larimer County.

Get your passport: https://tasteoftimnath.com

πŸ“ The nine stops, and what your passport gets you:

  • CF&G Public Market: buy one drink, get one free
  • Chelo's Modern Mexican: buy one margarita, get one free
  • Domino's: free 16-piece Bread Bites with a medium or large pizza
  • G-Que Championship BBQ: buy one sandwich, get one free
  • Mein House: free 16 oz premium draft beer with a dinner entree, dine-in
  • Pedro's Coffee Shop: free scone with a drink
  • Timnath Beerwerks: buy one beer, get one free (Beerwerks beers)
  • Timnath Beverage: 10% off one purchase
  • Wild Pastures Burger CO.: buy one burger, get one free

A special thank you to Baked by Kates, whose pop-up stops earlier this month (including at the Timnath Connect Harvest Market) added something sweet to the route, and to every business on this list for opening its doors to passport holders all month long.

❀️ Eat local. Support local. Give back.

Taste of Timnath is presented by Timnath Neighbors Magazine, organized by the Timnath Chamber of Commerce, and benefits the Food Bank for Larimer County.

Whether you have been working through your passport all month or you pick one up today for a final weekend run, thank you for showing up for Timnath's restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, and makers, and for helping feed Larimer County while you do it.

🀝 Four Chambers, One Great Morning

At the most recent Towns Connecting Over Coffee, approximately 50 business owners, community leaders, and Chamber members from across Northern Colorado came together for a morning built around something simple: getting good people in the same room.

A big thank you to our fellow partners at the Eaton Area Chamber of Commerce, Evans Area Chamber of Commerce, and Severance Chamber of Commerce for continuing to build this regional series alongside the Timnath Chamber. These are independent Chambers serving different communities, but there is a lot we can accomplish when we create opportunities for our members to meet, make introductions, exchange referrals, and build relationships beyond their own town lines.

Thank you as well to The Windsor Exchange for hosting us and providing such a great setting for the gathering.

And we're not done.

The next Towns Connecting Over Coffee is Thursday, November 12, 8:00 to 10:00 AM, hosted by the Eaton Area Chamber of Commerce at The Legacy, 124 1st Street in Eaton. It is free for members of the four partner Chambers, and $20 for non-members. We would love to see another strong Timnath showing.

See the November event and register here β†’ https://timnathchamber.com/events/towns-connecting-over-coffee-eaton-nov-2026

If the last gathering was any indication, this regional connection is only getting stronger.
