Timothy's Abode

CLASS OF 2024

Congratulations

To the next generation

of Missionaries Candidates

Marco, our first Quichua student/graduate. His final project is focused on the Quichua people in the unreached communities (no churches) in the Chunchi area here in Ecuador. He is ready to church plant the first Quichua endeavor. Marco has completed his theology studies and is a licensed minister.

Maria Paula, her final project is focusing on the vital people group of children. Her special focus is on the children of our missionary candidates - the future missionary child. Empowering their little hearts to blend with the missions call of their parents. Her endeavor will pour over into our local churches to reach the children of Ecuador and the world.

TWO days of celebration planned: Thursday night BBQ and fireworks with Graduation Friday morning, August 30th.

This graduation is our fifth class of missionary candidates!

Living under one roof is vital to the spiritual formation but living in the midst of construction - now that is an incredible challenge. We couldn't have asked for better servants and team players, especially in these conditions and with classes in our dining room. Wow!

Helping in the commercial kitchen. Befriending our chef Magali and construction workers. What incredible examples of Christ in Marco and Maria Paula! We love them dearly - our Timothy's Abode family!

Special thanks...to our guest professors investing their lives!

Missionaries: Laurel Ellis, Leah & Micheal Diaz-Baty, Diego & Anavela Ushiña, and our missionary resident Emerson Naichapi

Missions Prayer Tower

"Ask me...I will give you the nations as your inheritance" Ps 2:8

The letters, "Torre de Oración Misionera" (Missions Prayer Tower), were installed today. Next, is to build the staircase to the gazebo with the name of each tribe/people group of Ecuador - to pray over as you climb and then pray over the world map on the floor in the gazebo.

Seven years ago, the Texas team with Pastor Dino and Pastora Loida initiated the finances and prayed over this place and wow to see it used to pray for the unreached to the north, south, east and west. Then last year team from Spirit Church with Pastor Jason in OK painted the map on the floor and started the planting of the prayer gardens. The fruit continues - thank you!

Thanks to our incredible team of construction workers! And your financial support that helps pay their wages.

Please pray with us and for us:

  1. Our first Pastors Missions Retreat - we are preparing the date to empower and impart in order to start or grow their missions heart;
  2. Next group of missionary candidate students to arrive Feb 1st (7-month intense training);
  3. Construction funds - we need to complete the project;
  4. Continue health and energy for Ron and also Esther.

From the bottom of our hearts....we can't do this without you. Thank you!

Love, Ron & Esther

how can they hear unless "we" send

The Vision of Timothy's Abode: To have a big home to prepare and invest in the next generation of Ecuadorian missionary candidates under one roof. Whole heartedly saying, "send me". With missions-hearted pastors sending them and people to support them with prayers and finances.
