Building for Good
Kudos to the FutureForward construction class at Washington Square for their fine work on framing a tiny house and kicking off an incredible project! Adams 12 Five Star Schools FutureForward offers students real experiences and tactical practices to produce highly skilled workers. The Foundation supported the construction program through $10,000 in kickstart funding and bringing community partners to the table to purchase supplies for this tiny house. This tiny house is slated to be donated to a program for the homeless in the spring of 2022.
Also, a huge thank you to Adolfson and Peterson Construction, who supplied the welding class with steel that will keep the project rolling into the fall.
