These days, we ask students do a lot more than just write papers. We encourage or require them to create slides for presentations, videos, infographics, blogs, podcasts, and other multimedia projects. In support of this we can also share with students sources, resources, and tools they can use. These are all free:
Many of these are also “open” meaning content is already licensed to be adapted for other uses such as student projects without any copyright worries. This can also be a teachable moment on following accepted conventions of citing and referencing information and content adapted from outside sources.
