Tips from Tindall
Children Playing Safe at School
Cooler weather has everyone outside - Playground injuries can occur at public schools, private schools, day-cares, city parks, and private homes. Most of these injuries are caused by unsafe behavior by children or by unsafe equipment.

Each year, more than 200,000 children go to U.S. hospital emergency rooms with injuries associated with playground equipment. Most injuries occur when a child falls from the equipment onto the ground but there are other instances where improperly maintained equipment was  the  issue.

Is your public playground a safe place to play?

Contact Tindall Law Firm at 203-755-0018 If your child was seriously injured while playing on a playground due to unsafe or poorly maintained equipment as you may want to learn more about the legal concepts of premises liability and/or negligent supervision of children .

Fall is Mating Season...

Did you know - If you swerve to miss a deer, moose (or even a small mammal  like a raccoon)  and are successful but crash, say you hit a tree or guardrail, that damage is covered by collision insurance. If your vehicle doesn't make contact with the animal the damage is considered a collision claim because you hit another car or object (or rolled your vehicle).

Statistically, most car deer accidents occur between the months of October and December, which also coincides with the deer's mating season.

Keep in mind that there are also higher numbers of automobile accidents caused when another driver swerves to miss wildlife on the road causing an incident with another vehicle.

With all this information, it's clear that drivers must take every possible precaution when driving.

Something everyone can do! Stay alert when driving.

If you know of someone injured in an accident with another vehicle that was avoiding wildlife please contact our office to review the possibility of compensation for injuries. http://tindall-lawfirm.com/
