It's the season of giving thanks and for many of us, it's a time to reflect on what we are most thankful for.
For some, it's the helping hand they received in the aftermath of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria. For others, it's the attention of a caring mentor who helped their child improve his or her reading skills in a mentoring program called ReadingPals. Then, there's the family who left everything behind for a clean bed, a warm meal and most of all, a safe space to rebuild their lives on the other side of domestic violence.

Whatever you are most thankful for, United Way is here to help you get back on your feet, connect with a cause you care about or to mobilize a community of caring people who know best how to help a neighbor in need.

If you are looking to help us support our impact partners, please consider shopping on Amazon Smile during Cyber Monday (11/27) by clicking here or donating on #GivingTuesday (11/28) by clicking here. Your donation goes to our Community Investment Fund. Every $1 donated to our Community Investment Fund generates on average another $3 through matching grants for the nonprofits you love and support.

Perhaps Nobel Peace Prize philosopher Albert Schweitzer said it best when he said the following: "At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us."
