Let Titan Odyssey be your compass as you chart your course toward new horizons and boundless possibilities at IMSA!

Congratulations to the Class of 2025!

Last weekend, IMSA celebrated the Class of 2025 at Commencement. Families joined students for a final campus meal before heading to the NIU Convention Center to hear reflections from peers, faculty, staff, and keynote speaker, Ryan Wang ’08.

Ryan, an early engineer at Stripe and co-founder of Assembled (a growing customer support platform now employing over 140 people, including several IMSA alumni), shared thoughtful insights as the graduates prepare for their next chapter. Listen to his message here.

Titan Tips and Tricks

Before heading off for summer break or tossing their graduation caps, our students shared some words of wisdom for the incoming sophomores.

"Get out of your room! Talk to new people and see who you vibe with. IMSA is a better place when you know who you can rant to and who can make you laugh if you're down."

-Mbaye (Class of 2027)

"I think that students should make the best of their time, as it really flies by! I think that they should also maintain healthy habits to ensure they maximize the benefits and enjoy this experience."

-Kalyan (Class of 2027)

"Practice multitasking skills, and make good friends. Turn to your friends and counselors when you need support dealing with emotional ups and downs. Be a support system to your friends and community when needed."

-Shridhar (Class of 2025)

Don’t procrastinate!

-Teagan (Class of 2027)

Learn to manage your time. Many new students are used to pushing work back to the last minute, breezing through it the day before it's due, and still getting 100s. You cannot do that at IMSA., If you attempt to push back work, you will have to sacrifice sleep, good grades, or both.

On a happier note, IMSA is a residential school, so have fun too! Don't be scared because you're away from your parents, but treat it like a summer camp. On weekends, have movie nights in your room! Go on trips, take a walk, or get involved in clubs that you can spend a ton of time dedicated to because you live with your members.

- Ethan (Class of 2026)

Who's That Titan?

As we celebrate our graduating seniors, we also recognize the team that helped them get here: our College and Academic Counselors, or CACs.

Students are paired with a CAC in their sophomore year and remain with them through graduation. This long-term connection allows CACs to build strong, personalized relationships, serving not only as academic advisors but also as mentors, advocates, and a steady source of support throughout a student’s time at IMSA.

Whether helping students select a college or simply serving as a resource on campus, CACs play a vital role in each student’s IMSA journey.
