Summer Research Snapshots

Dr. Glazer visited the students who are part of IMSA's Summer Research and Experiential Learning cohort at Western Illinois University last week. The students are working on projects related to computer engineering, economics, quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and organic chemistry. University faculty and graduate students are serving as mentors to our students during their time in the program. Students and mentors enjoyed an evening of fun and fellowship after their research work was done for the day.

Summer Reading Reminder

Incoming sophomores should have received a copy of one of the summer reading options, either during orientation or by mail, as described in this handout. Please read your chosen text carefully to prepare for the first weeks of Literary Explorations I.

Did you know...

IMSA alumni remain actively involved in the community by volunteering as mentors for student research and internships, serving on expert panels, and teaching Intersession opportunities. After graduation, students can look forward to numerous networking opportunities and community gatherings across the country and around the world. The friendships formed at IMSA are lifelong, and the community is far-reaching.

Here are some alumni who came back to campus to attend their reunion last weekend.

PAC Regional Picnics

The Parent Association Council (PAC) is hosting several regional picnics for parents and students to get to know other families from their region. Join current IMSA students and parents to learn more about IMSA and enjoy food and fun outdoors with your family!
