Middle School Student Council

It’s that time of year again! The middle school student council election sign-up sheet is now posted on the chalkboard in the middle school hallway. Students may run for the following offices: President (must be in 8th grade), Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Class Representative. There will be two class representatives for each grade level.  All students will vote for the top four offices, but students may only vote for their class representatives. Example: 6th graders vote for 6th grade reps. Unfortunately, students may no longer post flyers or posters on lockers, walls, doors, or windows (Fire Marshal regulations). This year each candidate will compose and record a campaign speech on flipgrid (before the election). Mr. Lindsey, social studies teacher, will be the new sponsor with the assistance of Mrs. Wingfield (Community Service) and Mrs. McCreary. Student Council Elections will be held on Friday, September 7 at lunch, and the results will be posted on the doors of the Kirkpatrick Hall that afternoon. We look forward to this year’s election and to another great year of good times and good deeds.
Due Friday, 9/7

Every week, Stephanie Ayala and Michelle Stone lead Friday Chapel for Early Childhood and Lower School students. The service begins at 8:10. Your child will receive a Birthday Blessing during his/her birthday week in Friday Chapel. You are always invited to attend Friday Chapel, but we especially hope to see you on your child's celebration day.
In case of rainy weather, chapel will be moved to the Hollandsworth Commons.
