Dear Grace Families,
I hope you all had a great fall break! The teachers had a nice time attending the WELS Michigan District Teachers Conference in Cincinnati. It is always uplifting to worship our God and learn new things in education with other teachers. It is refreshing and revitalizing!
Titans on the Track - Once we get back to school, dates will be finalized for the remaining Titans on the Track activities. Stay tuned!
Hot Lunch - Thank you to everyone who has helped out with Wednesday’s hot lunch. We constantly need around six volunteers every week. If you are able to help, please sign up.
Christian Education Week - The last week of October is Christian Education week. It is a week to celebrate the blessings we have at a Christian school! The activities being on Sunday, October 25 with all of our students singing in the 10:30am worship service. Monday, October 26 is Grandparents’ Day. Special activities will take place throughout the rest of the week. On Friday, October 30, our students will go to Michigan Lutheran High School for the afternoon (we will be walking there and back, going through the subdivision) to do some activities and have a special chapel service with ML and other Lutheran elementary students.
Grandparents’ Day - Grandparents’ Day is just over a week away! On Monday, October 26, we will not have a regular day of school. Continental breakfast for all students and grandparents will be served between 8:00 and 8:50am. A special chapel service will be at 9:00. Afterwards, students and grandparents will do different activities throughout the morning. Everyone is dismissed at 11:45.
Glenlord Road Construction
Glenlord Road, west of the campus, will be closed the last week of October. It will be open when you drop off children on Monday, October 26, but by mid-morning, it will be closed from our west driveway (the driveway behind the house) for the remainder of the week (new sewer lines are being placed under the road). All of our driveways are supposed to be open throughout the week; you just can’t drive west of our property.

- Thursday, November 5 - Parent Teacher Conferences after school
- Friday, November 6 - Parent Teacher Conferences in the afternoon, EARLY RELEASE at 11:45.
- November 13 - End of First Trimester
