Hello Grace Family!
What a wonderful week of God's Grace! A couple of the highlights for me included:
1) My Titan Family joining me for dinner at Culver's on Tuesday! The staff at Culver's was so blown away by the way Titan Nation showed up that they encouraged us to come back anytime! Around $850 was raised for the Class Trip! Thank you for your support!
2) Students in 7th and 8th Grade getting out in the community to Rake a Difference. They cleared leaves and debris from former Grace Principal Mr. Nolte's backyard and current teacher Miss Reimers yard. Thankful that they had this opportunity to serve.
3) PIE had a meeting on Thursday to look at different ways to invest the abundance of blessings from TOTT back into things that will enhance the student experience at Grace. Stay tuned for more details on what those plans entail.
4) I had an opportunity to finish editing the Portraits taken on Grandparents Day. It was awesome to look through these pictures and be reminded of the JOY that fills this special day. Here is a link to all of the Portraits that were taken that day. Feel free to download and share as you see fit. GRANDPARENTS DAY PORTRAIT ALBUM
Next week we have a few activities packed into a few short days.
1) Staff Sumo Wrestling is being planned for Monday at 2PM - this was the reward the students chose as the ultimate prize for reaching their TOTT goals. Parents are welcome to come and spectate if they are so inclined :).
2) The students are singing at the Thanksgiving Worship Service at 12:00 pm on Wednesday next week. They will sing at the beginning of the service and then be dismissed. You are welcome to join us for that special worship service.
3) There is no school Thursday or Friday for Thanksgiving Break. I pray you have a wonderful time reflecting on all of God's blessings with family and friends.
Call Updates
We rejoice that Mrs. Mueller returned her call to Holy Trinity in Minnesota and will continue to run the PreK program at Grace!
Mr. Menges returned the call to be a Middle School Teacher at Grace. This means we will call again on December 3.
Finally, Mr. Lemke received a call to serve as the Athletic Director and Teacher at Michigan Lutheran HS. He is currently deliberating the call to see how he can best use his talents in SW Michigan. Please keep him in your prayers at this time.
