Connecting People to God's Grace

FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK

Dear Grace Families,

As we continue through this season of the school year, I am filled with gratitude for the many ways God is at work within our school community. It is a joy to see our students growing not only academically, but also in their faith and character each day.

This weekend is especially meaningful for many of our 8th grade students, as they will be confirmed during the 10:30 service. Confirmation is an important milestone in their walk of faith, and we celebrate this important milestone if their life. Please keep these students and their families in your prayers as they take this significant step.

We are also excited to welcome our incoming principal, Nathan Reich, who will be at school on Monday, May 4th to greet students as they arrive. This will be a wonderful opportunity for our students to meet him and begin building those important connections. We look forward to the leadership and care he will bring to Grace Lutheran School.

Looking ahead, our Track Meet will take place at Michigan Lutheran High School on Friday, May 8. Students participating should arrive by 9:00 a.m. We wish all of our athletes the best as they compete and represent our school with integrity and sportsmanship.

As we move forward together, may we continue to encourage one another in faith, kindness, and love.

“Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14

Dear Titan Family,

If you have been around for a while, you or your kids may have a T-shirt that has those words printed in bold on the front. That mission only gets stronger over time. We are a Titan family. If you don’t have one of those shirts in your laundry, then we pray that our open arms have received you well.

We want to host a parent meeting on May 11 from 7-8:30 pm to help you march into the summer with joy and transition to next year with confidence. The meeting will be in the lower level of the church. We want to highlight a few of the ways God has been blessing us this past year and how we are looking into the future.

Your voice shapes this family, and we genuinely want to hear it. There will be an opportunity for you to share that with us. This information will help our new principal, Nate Reich, as he steps into the leadership role in our family next year.

We are thankful for all your care and concern for Grace’s ministry. Your passion reflects God’s passion for us. Jesus’ love is relentless in his pursuit to perfect us by his work. In him, we carry the words of God printed in bold over our hearts, Family of God.

Connecting People to God’s Grace,

Chris Avila, Principal

Paul Jenkins, Pastor

Josh Bishop, Pastor
