Certified Yoga Instructor, Tamara Leeper, offers a weekly "Meditation in Motion - Gentle Yoga Class" every Thursday afternoon in the fellowship room at Unity Church of Delaware, 4277 Columbus Pike. Human beings are "narrative animals." For good or ill, our minds work in stories. That sounds innocuous, but in fact, it can be quite a problem if the stories we're telling ourselves are untrue or unkind. Pema Chodron shares teachings on how to become more aware of the stories we tell, so we won't get stuck in a story that's making us miserable.

Workshop: "Live Fully" (12:00- 2:00)

Have you ever been on a spinning amusement park ride and knew after 30 seconds that you wanted off? Some days feel like that. Fearful thoughts spinning. Surrounded by chaos.

In this 2-hour workshop we will look at how we can take these moments of chaos and turn them into opportunities for a better experience of life. Drawing on her book, Live Fully, Release the Fears, Embrace Inner Faith (available from Amazon.com), and her 30 years' experience as an alternative medicine practitioner, Mary will share the insights she's gained about why we don’t heal and how we can. Workshop presented on donation basis.
