Developmental Disabilities: Assessment and Treatment
6 Part Series (Offered Online and In-Person)

Starting January 14

Practicing physicians from CPRI facilitate this educational opportunity to update knowledge, build skills, and reflect on your clinical practice of assessment and treatment with young people who experience developmental disabilities.

Six live sessions will take place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, January - June 2020 from 6 PM - 8 PM. Participants can participate virtually or in-person (broadcasting from CPRI). Lecture content is combined with case-based discussions. Read more here .

Global Lessons in Dementia Care (Alzheimer's Society)

Join Dr. Charles Alessi, Chief Clinical Officer, HIMSS, and Senior Policy Adviser, Public Health England, for an interactive conversation on what Ontario can learn from other jurisdictions around dementia care. The focus audience is health sector leaders and innovators, and anyone who has an interest in the direction of dementia care in Ontario. Date: February 4, from 8-9 am.

Physical Activity Counselling and Exercise Prescription in Health Care

Presented by Exercise is Medicine Canada, this workshop will take place at GoodLife Fitness Home Office in London on Friday, March 6 . Participants will gain the confidence and skills to prevent, manage and treat chronic disease by way of physical activity. MainPro certification for up to 7 Mainpro+ credits.
