If you've driven or taken public transportation in the Albany area over the past few months, you may have seen ads for Whitney Young Health (WYH). The ads, which appear on billboards, buses and bus shelters are part of the Here for You ad campaign, featuring WYH providers, staff and patients.
The campaign is designed to let the public know that we are here for everyone, providing a wide range of services and programs to anyone, at any income level.
The Here for You campaign, which also features radio ads, assures patients - and prospective patients - that WYH has been providing quality primary care, dental and behavioral health services for 50 years, and that we have continued to deliver our services safely and courteously throughout the pandemic.
If you or someone you know would like to schedule an appointment or become a new patient at Whitney Young Health, please call (518) 465-4771.

Vaccinating Kids 5 and Up
|
When the COVID-19 vaccine became authorized for use in children ages 5 and up, Whitney Young Health's vaccine team set up clinics at the Watervliet Jr./Sr. High School for kids in that age range.
Parents and guardians, relieved to at last have the vaccine available to their younger children, brought kids from all over the school district for their first and second doses. Additionally, some of the parents/guardians received their booster shots at these clinics, completing vaccine protection for themselves and their children.

The award was accepted by Latasha Powell, a WYH Nurse Practitioner as well as a Nursing School instructor at Maria College, who was instrumental in establishing the partnership.
