SHELLIE LEWIS
DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE

Shellie brings over 35 years of aviation experience, including 18 years specializing in Quality Control. He credits his father, who was retired Navy, for his passion for aviation from when he first took him to see the Blue Angels as a child. It was then he knew he wanted a career in aviation.
His aviation maintenance career began when he joined the Navy right after high school. Upon completing his military service, Shellie chose to focus on private & corporate aircraft maintenance and started a career at Gulfstream in Savannah, Georgia. In his career, Shellie has also served as a Director of Maintenance for a Fortune 400 company.
In his 26 years at Gulfstream, Shellie held numerous positions for the company, including Mechanic, Field Service Technician, Airworthiness Inspector, and Quality Control Supervisor.
Shellie enjoys going to the beach, boating, classic cars, and spending time at the farm with family and friends in South Georgia.
Leviate is fortunate to have Shellie join the team. He is an integral part of the safety culture and high standards the company demands.

BARRY TRAMMELL
CHIEF INSPECTOR

Barry comes to Leviate with 30 years of aviation experience, holding numerous positions, including Mechanic, Planner, Scheduler, Production Supervisor, Production Manager, Site Supervisor, and Director of Maintenance for part 91/121/135 repair stations. A Veteran, Barry served in the United States Air Force as a mechanic for numerous airframes, including the Boeing 737 series and the Lockheed Martin C-130 series aircraft, to name a few. He also served as a Flight Engineer and acquired over 3800 combat flight hours on AC/MC/EC-130H aircraft. He has also served as a Site Manager for L3 Vertex for numerous platform integration and Logistics for government aviation projects.
 As he transitioned to the business aviation world, Barry became a strong pillar at Gulfstream Dallas as the Service Mechanic Lead. He was later brought on by NetJets as their Maintenance Coordinator. The list of aircraft platforms he has had the opportunity to work with is as follows: 737, T37, T38, Cessna 550, 560, Citation X, Learjet series aircraft, King Air series C-90, B200, B300, B350 aircraft, Gulfstream series aircraft (G100, G200, GIII, GIV, GV), Hawker series aircraft and the Polish ISKRA, MIG17F.
When he is not dealing with airplanes, you will see Barry enjoy time with friends & family or working on home renovation.


KENNETH FILLPOT
MAINTENANCE CONTROLLER

Ken comes to Leviate with 25 years of aviation experience, holding numerous positions, including Line Maintenance Technician, Line Maintenance Supervisor, Turboprop/Engine Technician, Leading Turboprop/Engine Supervisor, Quality Assurance Representative, Quality Assurance Supervisor, Maintenance/Production Control, Maintenance/Production Control Manager, As a Veteran, Ken served in the United States Navy as a mechanic for the C-2A (Greyhound) and the E-2C, Group Zeros ad the E-2D (Hawkeye) both in the Grumman series of Naval Aircraft. Working both onboard Naval Aircraft Carriers as well many locations abroad. He also served as a Crew Chief on the C-2A and acquired over 4,100 flight hours with over 900 Catapult and arrested landings on multiple aircraft carriers. He has also served as an A & P mechanic with Cobra Kai Flight Academy, Instructor, and Education Coordinator with the Aviation Institute of Maintenance.
When he is not dealing with airplanes, you will find Ken with tools in his hand, either working on his motorcycle or a project around the house. He is well known in the Lake Dallas area for his Brisket and Bacon Jalapeno Macaroni.

 
TIM CHOUDHARY
MAINTENANCE CONTROLLER
Tim’s passion for mechanics began at a young age as he learned quickly from his father, a fellow A&P mechanic. He brings over 20 years of mechanical experience to Leviate. His vast experience and knowledge in his field span far beyond aircraft, including cars, motorcycles, snowmobiles, boats, and anything else with a motor he could get his hands on. Tim is also a veteran, serving as an infantryman in the U.S. Army prior to coming to Leviate. Tim graduated from a Part 147 Aviation A&P program at the top of his class with a 4.0 GPA.
 
In his free time, you will find Tim spending time with his wife, Amanda, and his daughter, Eowyn. He and Eowyn are often found in the garage building a track car together. 



ALEX GALAVIZ
CHARTER SALES EXECUTIVE
As Corporal, MOS 0311 Infantry, Alex Galaviz served as a team leader in the Bravo Company 1/23 from 2011 to 2017. Alex Galaviz joins the Leviate team with extensive experience flying on a variety of aircraft in addition to strong sales acumen.
Alex has planted his feet within the growing company and has an affinity for providing exemplary customer service and top-tier air charter guidance. When he isn’t working, you can find Alex outdoors playing sports, camping, or spending some arts & crafts time with his daughter, Kenzie.

THIS IS HOW WE SUPPORT OUR VETERANS
Leviate Partners with the Light Up To Live Foundation every year. This foundation is the only organization in Texas and 48 states that gives polychromatic light therapy systems to members of the U.S. Armed Forces and Veterans living with Post Traumatic Stress, Traumatic Brain Injury, Pain, and Depression. It also funds highly trained service dogs for veterans with adaptive needs. The Foundation is dedicated to connecting military members and their families to other organizations that are in alignment with its mission of lighting a path to better health. Light Up to Live Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity based in Dallas and founded by Randall and Sherry Reed, owners of the World Class Automotive Group.
