There has been something missing in the hymn singing…you. We are seeking to widen the circle of voices that offers choral music as part of our weekly worship services. Please consider adding your voice to the congregational hymns and perhaps join the Choir as well. We now have the opportunity to include you from your home, and it’s easier than you think. Click the link below to the invitation from our Music
Director, Pamela Goody.
With Malice Toward None
Dreading the runup to, and aftermath of, the election? Jesus says, "Blessed are the peacemakers." Do your part to work for depolarization. Take the "With Malice Toward None" pledge. Learn more here.
Bless the Animals, Sunday, October 4
It's back! After a "paws" for a year, we'll gather, physically distanced, to give God thanks for the glory of the created order and to bless our pets (and pictures of same!)

Meet in front of the Church on Highland Avenue on Sunday, October 4, where we can spread out, at 12 noon.

Per CDC and Mass Board of Health, attendees are required to sign-in when visiting the Church or attending a Church activity. Masks and physically distancing are required. Please sign up here ahead of time.

Interested in a brief protocol-compliant tour of the renovated Chapel and a sample of the new Organ after the blessing? You must let us know on the sign up.

Did you know that you can watch previous services in our Facebook playlist "Sunday Services"?

Don't have Facebook? We are uploading the videos to our Youtube page.

Lastly, access previous bulletins and eBlasts or read Nick's sermons here.
Help us lead Sunday worship

We are inviting parishioners to be Facebook Ushers,to read Lessons and lead the prayers for our Sunday worship. We follow safety protocols, and ushers work remotely from the privacy of their home (so you can stay in your jammies!).

Please sign up here or email the office or Nick with questions. Thank you.
Organ Notes by Linnea Wren
Merriment, Midnight Revels and an Early Boston Organ

The organ in South Dennis on Cape Cod has a sweet tone and a colorful past. A past punctuated by foreign frivolities, Puritan disapproval, revolutionary upheavals, and frequent moves. And now, finally, the organ is enjoying a benign, respectable old age......
Here are the Vestry Minutes from the September 15 meeting. Read past Vestry Minutes here.
Continue to beware of scammer
Online "phishing" scams continue to target churches and clergy, and they require everyone's awareness and vigilance.
Bishops, clergy and church leaders will never ask for help or donations in this way. Recipients should be skeptical of unexpected e-mail or text message requests to send or spend money or provide urgent assistance. Check the sender’s e-mail address for legitimacy before responding or opening any links or attachments. If a request seems to be authentic, confirm with the requester using known contact information.
The Federal Trade Commission provides information about recent scams, by topic, and how to report them, here.
Pocket Prayer Shawl

The Knitting Ministry is knitting and mailing pocket prayer shawls. If you or someone who you know could benefit from a pocket prayer shawl, please email the office.
USPS Mail Bulletins and Newsletters

We continue to send bulletins and newsletters to those who don't have access to technology or a printer. If you or someone you know would like to receive these in the mail, please email the office.
If you or someone in your family is in the hospital or in need of pastoral care, please call the church office so that our clergy or the Pastoral Response Ministry team may be notified and tend to the need.
The office number is (781) 444-1469, and you can reach Nick at ext. 113.
