Black Dahlia is the nickname given to Elizabeth Short an American woman who was the victim of a much-publicized murder in 1947. Short's murder is one of the oldest unsolved murder cases in Los Angeles history. About sixty people confessed to the murder, mostly men.
What cannot be said out loud must be drawn. What cannot be drawn must be sung. The musical challenges the audience to consider Tom of Finland and his art as one of the biggest factors in gay liberation and LGBT rights worldwide.
