ISSUE 10

Bring your story to life!

Greetings, Fellow Toastmasters!

As hard as it is to believe, it's already time for the Annual Conference, where D101 comes together to celebrate our achievements and welcome new leaders. Register today to take advantage of the Super Early Bird discount, which ends on May 1.

Our latest podcast, featuring three-time DTM Dennis Dawson, has many valuable tips to help infuse humor in your speech.

There are plenty of incentives to encourage members to grow individually as well as grow their clubs! The Annual Conference is much more engaging with more attendees so we've created rewards just for coming and bringing a guest!

Finish the Fiscal Year with a bang and bring your story to life!

New Podcast

Sneha Sharma recently interviewed Dennis Dawson, DTM.

Sneha has come a long way to improve her interviewing skills, which were already strong. Way to go!

Dennis is a three-time DTM, so he has experience. So Sneha took the opportunity to ask how to infuse humor into a prepared speech. Dennis humbly responded that he wasn't always funny. You have to be bad at something before you're good. Another tip is to leave room in your speech for laughter. But I won't give it all away.

Do yourself a favor and listen to the podcast yourself! It's like a mini workshop with perfect timing.
