New Year - New Growth Opportunities

Congratulations to the clubs who won the Net 5 Incentive award!
Now think how your club can attract new members and boost membership retention. This is why we are running a new membership growth award, Happy New Member. The first 25 clubs win £30 for recruiting 3 new members.
And get ready to win the £100 Net 10 Award, as well as prizes in Talk Up Toastmasters.

The Gavel Race
The District Conference is scheduled for 6-8th May 2022, and the Gavel Race is now on! Eight gavels are travelling between all of the clubs in each Division, spreading the word and building excitement around the event.
When a gavel arrives at your club, take a photo or a video with it and your club members proclaiming "We are District 91!"

Then swiftly forward the gavel on to the next club.
All eight gavels should have visited all of the clubs and circled back to each Division Director before 31st March 2022.

News from Divisions
January is a month full of joy for leaders! Hear from Mo Dawodu, Division Director, and his team of Area Directors (Mike Weston, Enca Martin-Rendon, Charlotte Hitchings, Jackie Graybill, Matthew Rizzo) who look after the jolly clubs in Division J.

Division J found the jewelry of 104 educational awards and 56 new members in this Toastmasters year, but what is more:
  • No joke, Thame Speakers just celebrated their 40th jubilee.
  • Justice has been done as the article The Power of Story in Speaking by Jackie Graybill has been published five times and counting.
  • Area J10 jazzed up our community with a collaborative area-wide PR campaign ‘Say it Louder’.
Division J is a jolliest home of:
  • Speechcraft masters (Worcester Speakers) and Youth Leadership program champions (Malvern Speakers).
  • 'Phoenix' clubs (Didcot Speakers, Milton Park Toastmasters jumping for joy in growth.
  • Witney Speakers, Bicester Achievers, Chiltern Speakers that justify the efforts for the hybrid meetings.

Don't jeopardise this Division's achievements. Click on the button below to join them in their journey to success!
Talents of Toastmasters
Our District is full of talents. Sharon Andrews from County Communicators wrote a poem which she happily shares with us all.
I joined County Communicators
To learn to be a better orator
To practice proficient presenting
And when I started attending
What I found was this:
It is a meeting not to be missed
A group of like-minded individuals
Fine tuning phrases and syllables
A bevy of uplifting folk
Sharing thoughts and the occasional joke
An oasis in the midweek mayhem
In other words an absolute gem
A chance to develop self-esteem
In the supporting arms of a dream team
We all provide well considered feedback
Evaluations that keep us on track
Many roles with which to practice
Lots of hints and marvellous tips
And lastly a point I have to recommend
You will come away having made new friends
