Please note that our monthly luncheon is today (September 6th) at 12:00 noon at the Ark Restaurant in Davie, Florida. Please RSVP now to reserve your seat if you have not already done so. Circuit Court Judge David A. Haimes is our guest speaker (see below). The cost is $20 for members, $30 for non-members. Judges are complimentary. Featured speaker for September luncheon
The Honorable David A. Haimes
Circuit Court Judge
Judge of the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida
Judge Haimes was born and raised in South Florida. He graduated from Chaminade
High School in Hollywood, Florida. He then attended and graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor's in Business Administration and a concentration in Accounting. He worked for three years as a CPA with Ernst & Young before attending Notre Dame Law School where he was on Law Review and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
During his law career, he was a judicial law clerk for United State District Judges William J. Zloch and William P. Dimitrouleas, he worked for three years as a civil trial attorney with the United States Department of Justice Tax Division, he was an Assistant State Attorney for three years in Broward County, and prior to becoming a judge, was a federal prosecutor for six and a half years with the United States Attorney's office in the Southern District of Florida.
Judge Haimes is married and has five children. He presently assigned to the circuit court, criminal division.
