Meet Sean & JayJay : JayJay first attended a gathering at Jami and was deeply moved by the love and kindness he experienced from the brothers. He was particularly touched by one brother, whom he came to see as a father figure, and began learning the Qur'an with him. Six months after embracing Islam, JayJay invited his brother Sean to experience Jami. Sean took his shahada immediately.

Today, both Sean and JayJay are dedicated students in our Taleem program and are also part-time students at the Ansar Institute.

Meet Tory. In Ramadan, Tory walked into the masjid from the neighborhood and spent the last ten nights with us. After taking his shahadah, the light can clearly be seen on his face.

Meet Quell. Over the last ten years Quell was one of those children on the playground who came to play after school. After high school he got busy with friends and family and fell on hard times . He decided to come back to Jami and told us that the best days of his childhood was at Jami and that he wants to learn more about Islam. After some reading and discussion, Quell took his shahada and has been a practicing Muslim since.
