Join Neil Kelly of the CAEP Office as he introduce the CAEP Statewide Priorities: Curriculum, Equity, Leadership, Learner Transition, Marketing, Program Development, Program Evaluation, and Technology and Distance Learning. The webinar will define each state priority, how each state priority impacts the consortium’s 3-year plan and annual plan, and how programs can align to each state priority. The webinar will also highlight upcoming practitioner-led webinars who are effectively leading programs aligned to the statewide priorities.

Guiding questions for this conversation include: How have you kept transition front and center in your work? What partnerships and resources have contributed? What challenges have you confronted? What questions do you have for each other?

Reminder: 2021-22 CFAD Due May 3rd
|
|
The 2021-22 CAEP allocations, by consortium, have been uploaded in the CFAD section of NOVA and open for data entry and certification. At this time, we know consortia are in the midst of public meetings and voting on this year’s allocations. By May 3, 2021, each consortium is to certify the 2021-22 CFAD. There will be no extensions granted.

PPIC: One Year Later, Is California on the Road to Recovery?
|
|
In their latest blog post on economic recovery, PPIC examines California’s labor force at the lowest point during the pandemic to present. Last year, California’s economy took a major hit when COVID-19 shut down businesses, events, and other economic activities. At the worst point in the recession, California lost about 3 million jobs. To fully recover, the state now needs to grow jobs to return workers to the labor market and get the unemployed back to work. As of February 2021, nearly 60% of job loss has been recovered.
