Women's Breakfast In May With "Farmher Leah"

Rev. Leah believes that there is something holy and healing about putting your hands in the dirt – that growing food, feeding others, nurturing community, and caring for creation is sacred work. Come hear her fascinating stories from her work as a farm owner, food and faith educator, and food sovereignty activist. The Sunday, May 17 Worship Service Will Include Sanctuary Choir Concert “Make Our Garden Grow”

On May 17th, the Union Congregational Church Sanctuary Choir will present a lessons-and-carols-style service titled Make Our Garden Grow. This program explores climate justice in three movements: the beauty of creation, our responsibility to protect and preserve it, and the consequences we face when we fail to do so. Featuring music by Joseph Haydn, Dan Forrest, Stephen Schwartz, Elaine Hagenberg, Matthew Culloton, and Leonard Bernstein, with guest soloist Annelie Fahlstedt.

7pm Zoom Budget Presentation For The Next Fiscal Year (July 2026-June 2027)

Treasurer Bruce Hager, Moderator Christine Brown, and Executive Director Jon Thomsen warmly invite members of the congregation to an important presentation on zoom outlining the budget for the upcoming church year. This is an informational meeting. The congregational vote on the proposed budget will take place at the Annual Meeting held on Sunday, June 14, 2026. The Zoom link for May 18th will be on the front page of the church website and in the web calendar event.

Join us for an intergenerational service celebrating the “birthday of the church”, with prayer stations and lively music. Wear red, the traditional color representing the fire of the Spirit that came down on Pentecost.
