We hope this letter finds you and your loved ones well. We’re so pleased to tell you about everything we have been up to over the past year, demonstrated in our Impact Report above. Here we describe the many valuable programs and services we offer at the nbmtLINK—old and new—which educate, comfort, and help patients, caregivers and health care professionals navigate the life-saving yet often daunting bone marrow/stem cell/CAR T-cell therapy journey.
Just this week, we had more than 500 people register for our Lunch & Learn tomorrow on Cancer Fatigue and Getting Through the Holidays. There is still time if you want to register. Please visit our website. The details are on our home page. These numbers demonstrate the need for services we are honored to provide.
And be sure to check out our new season of podcasts through Marrow Masters,
just launched yesterday. We bust seven common transplant/marrow related myths.
We wholeheartedly recognize and thank our Link Partners, listed at the end of this email for their annual support. You make our work possible on so many levels.
You are so appreciated.
We look forward to collaborating with each of you in the new year.
We’re humbled and honored to serve our constituents but we cannot do it alone—your financial support enables us to keep all of our programs free of charge. Maybe it’s a buddy through our peer support program or an article in our blog series that is desperately needed. Whether it’s the middle of the night, while in the waiting room or on their way to an appointment, patients and their families can choose to read or listen to a book, podcast or Lunch & Learn when the time is right for them through our newly revamped website. We strive to help those who need us when it works.
Here are quotes from a resilient survivor and caregiver.
“I am extremely grateful to the nbmtLINK, which has been a valuable resource throughout this process. Their materials are full of helpful information. Their staff is incredibly helpful and personal. You’re not dealing with a huge organization here—you are dealing with people who care about you personally. "
Barb, survivor
“And, let us not forget the heart of the National Bone Marrow Transplant Link, good Samaritans found along the way who also gave us tremendous hope for a return to a healthy life in the foreseeable future. Such compassion has proven to be an intangible essential, an inexpressible balm on the road to healing. So thankful for your support and resources."
Barry, a caregiver
Together, we can ease their burdens, lighten their load, provide comfort, meet them where they are and educate on all levels.
Thanks in advance for any gift you decide to give. It is greatly appreciated and will be put to great use. Visit our website often for recorded series, blogs sure to inspire and much more.
We also have our beautiful blank notecards and our tribute cards available in time for gift giving. Check them out on our website, under the Shop tab.
Happy Holidays to You and Yours!
